Welcome to Jr. High Science!
I have been at South Gray Jr. High since 2018. I am thrilled to be a part of the Rebel family. My husband, Jeremy, and I farm south of Copeland. We are proud to be 5th generation farmers on a Century farm. We are the parents of 2 children and 2 dogs. Katelyn is a Veterinarian in SW Kansas and Max is a sound engineer at live events in the Denver, CO area. Rascal patrols the farm, keeping us safe and Barney is our English Bulldog. I love to travel, work in my vegetable garden, cook, and play piano.
I became a teacher because I love to learn and I like to share my excitement with my students. My classroom is generally very structured and one of my goals is that every student knows exactly what is expected of them, whether that is behavior, how to complete work, and when work is due.
I am constantly seeking to learn more science and different ways to teach. I have also been successful in bringing a lot of new experiences to South Gray students with grants. It is also my pleasure to be the accompanist for vocal music. I love to make music with these students.
