For Kansas Day the Montezuma 4th graders joined one of Mrs. Z's classes and made bread. We discussed that bread comes from the wheat grown in our state. We also made some butter for our bread, which made a great snack!

Good luck to our Copeland and Montezuma Elementary and South Gray Junior High Spellers. They will compete on Wednesday January 31 at 9:00 am in Ingalls for the County Spelling Bee.
The Montezuma 4th Graders and Copeland 3rd and 4th Graders traveled to Finney County Fair Grounds today to take part in the Farm Bureau Friends on the Farm Day. They heard from many different presenters in the agriculture world. What a great afternoon of learning!

Due to our 2 hour delay on Wednesday (1/24/24), Dental Screenings for Montezuma students have been rescheduled for February 12th.
Unified School Districts 371 and 476 will have a two hour delay on Wednesday, January 24th. There will be no PreK for Unified School District 371.
Mrs. Neufelds 7th Grade Kansas History students enjoyed a trip to Boot Hill in Dodge City. They toured the sights and experienced all the exhibits and ended the trip with Sarsaparillas! They were great representatives of SGJH!

SGJH Rebels traveled to Pawnee Heights on Thursday. Both C teams, JV teams, and JV girls defeated the Tigers. Varsity Boys fought hard but lost to Pawnee Heights 15-21. It's a Great Day to be a Rebel!
