Parents just a reminder when you are having your child ride home with a friend on the route bus you need to inform the grade school office. Kelly will then notify the bus driver that they have permission to ride the bus. If the driver is not aware of the new student the student will not be allowed to ride the bus. This is a safe guard so the school knows where the students are.
Montezuma 3rd/4th graders completed a project based learning project about running their own tree farm. To culminate the project, they went to Headrick’s Christmas Tree Farm in Mullinville. It was a fun AND cold morning of learning about a real life tree farm.

We are very appreciative of Miss Breanna's hard work and dedication in our lunch room keeping our students well nourished! She serves the best lunches and has so much fun with our students each day! SGJH Rebels traveled to Meade last night to take on the Buffaloes
All three of the Boys' teams played hard but fell short to the Buffaloes.
The C Team and JV girls won against Meade and the Varsity girls made an exciting comeback to take the Buffaloes into two overtimes and ultimately defeated the Meade Buffaloes! Great job to all our JH Rebel Athletes on their sportsmanship and grit! 🏀⚔️🏀📣⚔️

The HS volleyball girls will be making Christmas treats again this year as a fundraiser to help cover summer volleyball costs. The Poinsettias that the cheerleaders sold have been delivered to the school. Cheerleaders will deliver plants later this evening. However, if you would like to pick your plant up, you may do so at anytime this afternoon. Congratulations to Miss Raine Torres on being selected this month's USD 476 Red Apple Award recipient. Miss Torres is a first year teacher at Copeland Elementary and is a wonderful addition to our staff! She has built great relationships with all students and staff and ensures that her students receive quality instruction in her classroom each and every day. 🍎
SGJH student participated in a holiday MTSS Team Building activity on Tuesday. Students were placed in groups of 10 and had to race for items to construct their own Thanksgiving Turkey together using every item they retrieved! It was a so fun watching them collaborate and see what they created. Thanks to Mrs. Faurot for putting together this activity! 🦃
